MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR ANOTHER EVENT
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18, 2026
MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART
Location: 158 Sterling Road Toronto, ON
Time: 11:00am
This exciting Art Museum is located in a re-purposed textile factory .
Located in the West Queen Art & Design district known as The Junction, the museum features
Canadian, Indigenous and International Art.
The museum was founded in 1999 from the former Art Gallery of North York.
MOCA features special Exhibitions and we are fortunate to be able to view the present Exhibit
'Jeff Wall Photographs 1984-2023' which moves on after March 24, ... our visit is on March 18.
We will be met by Staff member Jessica at the main door when the Gallery opens at 11:00am sharp.
She will begin with an overview of MOCA , then we will tour. She will also speak about the artistic development of the surrounding area.
Often our tourist visitors request a location to visit that is unique. This tour will definitely add to our commentary regarding
interesting sites in our great City of Toronto.
Please note that we are most privileged as the Gallery is welcoming us at 'no charge'..when there is usually a significant fee.
We are most appreciative of this.
IF ANYONE ARRIVES EARLY there is an excellent Cafe, ☕ 'Forno Cultura' on site which opens at 9:00am
Note:
* Parking is available on street meters or underground next to the gallery.
* Nearest subway Station is a 10 minute walk from Dundas and Lansdowne Station
